Hello everyone, through this post, I'm going to write about the country I would like to visit.

After thinking about it for a long time, even before reading this post, the country I would like to visit without any doubt is Germany. The reason is because Germany is a country with a great history, traditions and cultural diversity, so it has a lot to offer to all the people who visit it. It's a country that was marked by its history and the simple fact of walking through its streets makes you get transported to the past and immerse yourself in it.

Moreover, there you will find valuable works that have marked a before and after in the history of architecture. For example, it's very common to find museums, monuments and churches with an architecture and design worthy of admiration, such as the Cologne Cathedral, which is a Gothic style construction that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

On the other hand, I know that the food and everything related to gastronomy is exquisite. I know that it's characterized by the taste of the traditional beer they sell. The truth is that I am not good at drinking beer, but it would be worth it to try it and enjoy the moment in a country like this.

Being there, I would like to go and see each of its historical places, visit each of the cities appreciating the beauty of its buildings and landscapes. Also, I would like to be able to visit each one of its towns, which are characterized for being quiet and for having beautiful views.

Just as I would like to visit the country and get to know it completely, I would also like and love to continue my architectural studies there at the Bauhaus, because it has been characterized worldwide as the most influential modernist art school of the twentieth century, for its approach to teaching and the relationship between art, society and technology.

Undoubtedly, it would be a privilege to be able to set foot in that place one day.

Hello everyone. In this last post I'm going to write to you how my educational experience has been this year and some reflections on them.

To begin with, I think that, academically, it has been a good year, so I count it as something good that has happened. At this point I have closed most of my classes and I have passed everything, maybe not as I would have liked, but I did it and in a way I'm happy with that, since, due to anxiety and stress, I did not give the best of me in the last months, and I did it anyway.

I feel that, compared to the previous year, this one has been better. Last year was worse, I did not know how to cope and I felt very bad most of the year. However, I feel that this year I have been able to cope better, although the only thing that has not worked well, that I have not been able to solve and cope with, is my mental health, which has always been affected by the academic load and family situations.

My life in the last few months has been a whirlwind, and for the same reason I have been in a bad way. However, I somehow try to compensate for that or forget about it by sharing with my pets, exercising at home, talking about anything with my university friends that I still don't have the pleasure of seeing them again and even with the achievements I've had so far. Which I don't know if it's right, since I avoid too many things, and at any moment I can explode, but that's what's happening to me now and that at least makes me happy for a moment.

Yesterday, together with my Taller 3 group, we had a delivery that was actually hard to do. We both tried so hard to do something really good, that we gave our best, leaving aside eating well, sleeping, resting or just having a social life, and we did excellent. We're so happy about that, because lately we have excelled and the teachers have told us so and always end up congratulating us. This situation, I count it as an achievement, but I question the... is it right to put aside your mental health for the sake of feeling that you're doing something right? The truth is I don't know, but situations like that are the ones that have happened to me every year and somehow, that, those achievements make me feel a little better, escaping from my reality, making me feel like I'm not a failure.

Well... To conclude, I feel that the blog has been a good tool to know better the people that surround me virtually. I've always taken the time to read most of what my schoolmates publish, since I enjoy each of the stories and personally, I've also enjoyed it a lot, because I really like to write and express myself, and I'm sure you've already noticed, with all the words I usually have in a post JAJAJA. I hope someday to have my own blog, and write a lot of stuff. Who knows I might end up being a writer instead of an architect. You never know the twists and turns of life.

Hello everyone. In this free post, I'm going to write to you about the latest series I finished watching on Netflix that I loved.

(ALERT: SPOILERS)

LUPIN is a French suspense and mystery series that premiered in January this year, which is directed by George Kay and Francois Uzan.

It tells the story of Assane Diop, an immigrant boy from Senegal, who along with his father Babakar Diop, arrive in France in the 1990s, in search of new opportunities. A few years later, his father was incriminated for the theft of an expensive diamond necklace by his employer, the millionaire Hubert Pellegrini. For this reason, Babakar is arrested and given life imprisonment, due to Pellegrini's efforts to corrupt the French police. As the father could not stand the injustice, a few days later he's reported to have committed suicide, leaving Assane an orphan at the age of 14, in a city he barely knew.

Twenty-five years later, Assane plans revenge against the Pellegrini family, inspired by a book that tells the story about the gentleman thief, Arsene Lupin, and that the same father had given him on his last birthday. In this way, using his charisma and mastery of theft, he gradually exposes all the crimes committed by Hubert, discovering many things he didn't know about his father.

I really liked this series, because in each chapter something very interesting happened. It left you with the feeling of intrigue and always encouraged you to keep watching it, becoming addicted to it. I feel it's a very well put together series, in terms of actors, sounds, lighting, spaces, etc. At the same time, I was very struck by the fact that in each chapter they showed the great monuments and buildings for which France stands out internationally. And me being an architecture student, who appreciates every architectural work, made me love the series even more.

To conclude, I recommend it 100%, it has been by far one of the best I've seen on Netflix. Which I really appreciated every minute watching it, for everything it offers and transmits, in terms of resilience. So you won't regret it and if you get to see it, it would be nice if you tell me about it :D.

Hi everyone, through this post, I'm going to write to you about what has been my favorite class this semester at FAU.

My favorite class so far is called Principios de Habitabilidad y Sostenibilidad. It's a class that at this point I have already finished, but I loved it. It was led by professors and architects BΓ‘rbara Rodriguez and Daniela Carter.

In these classes we worked constantly doing research work on the importance of sustainability in terms of architecture. First, we would choose a city in question to investigate. In my case, together with my group, we chose the city of CopiapΓ³. In each class we had to investigate and solve problems in terms of: solar radiation, natural lighting, ventilation, life cycle analysis and thermal envelope. These 5 criteria helped to develop a project or new housing that responded to all these problems of the city.

I really enjoyed this class, as it was the first time I learned about many things related to the pollution generated by a house or architecture in general and how important it's to address it when creating a project. Before, without having been in this class, I knew nothing about this, not even the importance of building material and how it can help reduce a city's carbon dioxide emissions or the opposite.

I feel that I learned a lot in this class, to the point that I enjoyed every single one of them and always gave my best.

ππŽπ’π“ πŸ•: 𝐀𝐍 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐍 𝐌𝐘 π…πˆπ„π‹πƒπŸ“

Hello everyone, through this post, I'm going to write about an expert I admire in the architecture career.

Zaha Hadid. (1950-2016)

Zaha Hadid was an Iraqi-English deconstructivist architect, who was born on October 31, 1950 in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. She died on March 31, 2016.

She began her studies, studying mathematics at the American University of Beirut, before moving in 1972 to London to study architecture at the prestigious Architectural Association School of Architecture.

After graduating, Zaha Hadid began working in the studio of her former professors Rem Koolhaas and Elia Zenghelis, becoming their partner in 1977. After this, Hadid decided to set up her own architectural firm, Zaha Hadid Architects, in 1980.

Her international reputation skyrocketed in 1988 after her incredible architectural drawings were shown in the acclaimed exhibition "Deconstructivism in Architecture" at the MoMA Museum in New York.

Over the years, she went down in history as the first woman to receive numerous awards at the time. She received the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004. She also received the Mies van der Rohe Award and the Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011. In 2012 she was appointed by the Queen of England as a Commander of the Order of the British Empire, and in 2015 she became the first woman to receive the Gold Medal of the RIBA (The British Architects' Association).

This talented woman built a series of architectural works characterized by a non-linear design, completely dominated by the curve with which she intended to provide cities with utopian realities in urban scenes. He carried out a large number of works in a short period of time due to the furor of starchitects (star architects) in the 2000s.

Among his most famous works are: Heydar Aliyev Center (Azeibaryan), Guangzhou Opera House (China), London Aquatic Center (England), Bridge Pavilion (Spain), Galaxy SOHO (China), MAXXI (Italy).

The fact that Hadid was so different from my way of thinking and way of seeing architecture with what I have been learning and studying, makes me value, like and admire her even more. Sometimes the works that surprise us most and make us reflect are, paradoxically, those that we consider more distant from the approaches to which we believe we feel more linked. I never imagined that such works could exist in real life until I met her.
She had such a strong language of her own that she mastered with great skill. She was able to design shoes, a library or any object and building with the same lines, the result being real shoes or a working library.

Undoubtedly, she was a very important architect, who to this day is part of the history of architecture, for her great talent, for her great contribution to contemporary architecture and for having been the first woman to reach a place hitherto reserved only for men.

Hello everyone, through this post, today I'm going to write to you about some anecdotes I had with one of my beautiful cats.

These pictures were taken by me, I don't remember exactly on what day, but I do know that it was in the year 2017, because of what I was doing in the pictures, so I can deduce that it was in that year.

That beautiful kitten was named Mahuencho. I adopted him in 2016 along with his siblings, since I found them inside a box in the street and I couldn't leave them there, I felt I had to help them. As I have a grandmother's heart, as they say. I took them to my house, without taking into account my parents' opinion. At the beginning they weren't happy with the arrival of these 4 kittens, because we hadn't had one for years and they said they're too many, but with the months they became the sweethearts of the house and of my parents. In fact, they loved the cats more than me ajajaj.

I love these pictures, because they show a very cute and funny moment I had with Mahuencho, because as he was considered a baby by everyone and he knew it, he was very spoiled and always wanted attention.

I remember that, in the first picture, he had to hand in a work and expose about the Cerebellum. As I was concentrating on doing that, he jumped up on the table, so that I would make him love it and stop working. As he noticed that I was still working, he started playing with the poster board and throwing the pencils at me. I scolded him a little bit and then out of nowhere he disappeared, I continued working and I started to notice that the cardboard was moving by itself and I got scared, thinking it was something paranormal, but it was him inside JAJAJA. It was a very funny moment, it made my night, since I was stressed out because of the amount of things I had to do and that moment made me more than happy, so I ended up giving him love and he ended up falling asleep in my arms.

The second picture, represents something very similar. I had a test for physics, so I was studying and he wanted attention, so he climbed on top of my things so I would stop studying and give him love hahaha. To make his act more unnoticed, he started licking himself, but I already knew that's what he wanted jajaja.

In summary, these pictures represent some of the cute and funny moments I lived with him. Unfortunately he's no longer with me, he died 1 year later, which was very painful for me and for all my family, since he wasn't just a cat or a pet for us, but he was a son and a brother of the family. (It's incredible how much love you can feel for a being that by nature is an animal).

Today we still remember him, I have pictures of him in my house and I still have all the ones I took of him with my phone. Also, 2 of his siblings are still with us, as sadly another one of them died away a few months later. However, both of them will always remain with us and I doubt that I'll forget them. For all the beautiful moments I lived by their sides, since I found them as newborns and gave them milk, until I saw them grow into adults.

I miss them so much u.u
